The Company
Coinmotion Ltd. has been operating profitably in the cryptocurrency space since 2012, being one of the oldest companies in the scene. In addition to the online cryptocurrency brokerage services at coinmotion.com, we also offer other financial services such as saving options, interest accounts and private banking services. We also have a subsidiary operating Bitcoin ATMs in several locations around Finland.
Coinmotion is a licensed payment institution and cryptocurrency provider regulated by the FIN-FSA. Our offices are located in Helsinki, Tampere and Jyväskylä, Finland. We are open to and encourage remote work, but we do expect employees to be able to join us at some of our offices for team meetings, workshops and social gatherings now and then.
The Position
We are looking for experienced mid-level or senior backend / web service developers to renew the backend of our coinmotion.com service using modern technologies, such as Golang, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and GCP.
You should also have some experience with DevOps and designing RESTful APIs. Experience with or inclination towards information security is also highly valued. In addition to Golang experience we also appreciate solid web service development experience with any modern language.
Working fluency in written and spoken English is expected. Experience with or good understanding of frontend development would be useful, as would be experience with (micro)service architectures.
