Coinmotion Card is a prepaid card. Therefore you cannot accumulate any debt when using it. The card is connected to your Coinmotion account which allows you to spend money directly from any of your wallets – be that fiat money or crypto.

You can use the card for online payments, to pay for your groceries at the supermarket, or make ATM withdrawals. Since the Coinmotion Prepaid Debit Card is connected to the Mastercard payment system, it can be used anywhere in the world where a prepaid Mastercard is accepted. Mastercard cards are accepted at over 29.4 million locations worldwide.

How do I apply for a Coinmotion Prepaid Card?

If you are a Coinmotion user, sign up to hear about the start of pre-ordering here. When the pre-order starts, we will email you the instructions on how to order the card.

The card is only available to those aged 18 years and above.

How do I top up my card?

You can top up the card from your Coinmotion euro wallet. You can do this on the website — even on your smartphone when you’re on the go.

You will be able to automate card top-ups from any of the cryptocurrencies custodied by Coinmotion in the near future. Additionally, you will get the option to choose the priority of the assets (euros or crypto) used for the top-ups.

What is the currency of the card?

Your Coinmotion Prepaid Debit Card currency is euros.

Where is the card available?

The Coinmotion card is available to our users residing in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The card will be available for the rest of the EEA countries in the near future.

Are there any fees I should be aware of?

You pay only for the usage of the Card. If you convert cryptocurrencies to euros, standard service fees apply. There are no additional fees. You can find the complete fee schedule in the full FAQ.
