Want to jump into one of the most exciting sectors right now? Prasos Oy is expanding its operations and we are looking for an experienced backend developer to strengthen our product development team. In this position you are one of our key players and will be in charge of developing Coinmotion backend further.

Prasos was granted a Payment Institution Licence as one of the first cryptocurrency operators in Europe and it is actively expanding its operations in Europe. Our main service Coinmotion is a platform for trading and storing cryptocurrencies with investment and savings features as well.
We provide our clients with a comprehensive range of cryptocurrency brokerage services, and we will expand the capabilities of cryptocurrency investment to more traditional investors and institutions. We believe that cryptocurrencies will continue to grow. We want to continue to contribute to this growth, with even greater efforts.

Are you developer with an interest in blockchain technology?
We expect you to have a positive attitude and a keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry. Knowing the ins and outs of blockchain technologies is highly beneficial for the position. You should have an analytical approach towards software development and know your design patterns.
Your main responsibilities require experience with PHP, SQL, REST APIs, Linux and scripting technologies. Knowing Go or Rust too is an advantage. You have an eye for detail and you take pride in making sure everything works and is secure.
You will work as a key player in our product development team in one of our offices either in Helsinki, Jyväskylä or Kuopio. Previous experience working with test automation, Docker, Kubernetes and GCP is a benefit.
The job is a permanent full-time position with a fixed monthly salary. The contract has a 6 month trial period. Please indicate your salary request in the application. Work will begin as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
