Our main service Coinmotion.com is the leading Bitcoin broker in the Nordics and Denarium is our world-renowned brand of physical Bitcoins. Now we are asking You to join us as a Lightning Protocol and Application Developer! This is a full-time position where approximately half of your time will go into open source development of the Lightning Network protocol and the other half into enabling Lightning Network in our various services. You can work remotely from anywhere in the world, but occasional travel to our HQ in Jyväskylä, Finland is expected. Your responsibilities include: Contribute to core development of Lightning Network Enable Lightning to our various services Make informed design choices Take ownership of your projects You are expected to have: Strong background in software development Hands-on experience with cryptocurrencies Positive and inspired attitude towards continuous learning and self-improvement It’s beneficial if you also have: Experience with Linux systems Experience with Bitcoin script, PHP, JS, Golang, SQL, Angular, Git and/or similar Previous contributions to open source projects or communities Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal We are expecting your CV and cover letter at rekry@prasos.fi.
